        I've been gathering parts & info to build this truck for what seems like forever. There isn't a whole lot available other than die-cast engines (aftermarket) in this scale so kit bashing 1/6th scale '41 WILLYS PICKUP isn't much help. Lots of scratch building was my only option until 3-D printing became available. Now there are some plug & play (fairly inexpensive) home printers available, more info about this as this thread goes along.

        Anyway, I wanted to get this thread started so here's a pic of the 1/6 R/C car body I'm starting with.

        The smaller Willys front end in the photo is a 1/8th scale piece for size comparison.

      Don, I did a 42 Willys hot 1/6th scale '41 WILLYS PICKUP rod pu a few years ago It was approx 1/18 but you can make anything work with a good scale./
      . Don't know how much reference stuff I have left but if I can add to your project, I will

      Roger, yes there has been some progress but it's been slow going lately. I plan on getting busy with it again in early 2018. Will post pics.
