Heads up guys.....for you members that have had no luck finding one of these big Willys......check this out, here's your chance.

Guido found these and he really wants one too, but his hobby budget won't allow it right now. He is however willing to trade one of his New R/M Big T Kits for one if someone would be kind enough to help him out. Contact him for details.

I found this on eBay Its price is a far cry from $42.99 at Amazon.com

Think what the site's Willys build will be worth, this one is only repainted and decals.

I just got done checking the price on the 1/6 scale willys... The price jumped from 42.99 to 59.87 :( Guess I should have jumped on it earlier

When it first came out it was $80 bucks. You're still saving money.

I was at Wally World getting a bike for one of the grand babies and had to stop by the toy section (yeah, right). They had a 1/10th scale R/C General Lee that proportion wise looked really good...wouldn't take much work to detail out...If I didn't have so many projects going I would have picked one up..it would be perfect for the 1/10th resin 1/6 Willys RC For Sale Parma Hemi and a little tweaking, you Mopar guys might want to check it out.

If you watch Ebay carefully you can pick them up for less. The last one I got was only $20.00.

I noticed that General Lee a few months ago and your right its a great starting off point but theres also an Impala and a Cadillac if I remember correctly. Those were marked 1/6 scale but are undersized and more in the 1/7 area and shrinking to 1/8 would be fairly straight forward.

    Well Don,

I got most of the cammer parts back from Chrome Tech but I need to get a few more done. Then everything except the carbs can be assembled. I’m working on super detailing them. My wife gave me a Micro-Mark PE kit so that I can do some linkages for the cammer Holleys and the 97’s for my other projects. I hope the learning curve isn't too steep.

However, all work is halted temporarily while I finish my new basement space. I’ve totally outgrown my 1/25th scale area. Should be back in business in a month or so.

I know what you mean...Had enough elbow room with the 1/8th stuff, but 1/6th eats up some real estate to work on comfortably.
