This is a little off topic but for an interesting change of pace, do a Google search for the "Volvo-Caresto V8 Roadster".

First the Plymouth Prowler and now this Volvo........

Perhaps they should have named it the "Boydster".

Seems like the automakers are waking up to the fact that there is a market for modern Hot Volvo Hot Rod Rods. What's next......a '40 Ford 3/4 scale look-a-like Kia?

Sorry Rick, it's not on my "wish list".......I guess I'm stuck with a plain ol' fashioned hot Volvo Hot Rod rod mentality.

Morelike the "Liefster" - just the thing for running around inside the Arctic circle.

Maybe Yamaha is trying to get some more mileage out of their old Taurus SVO V8 design of years back. I'm told prices on that engine were embarrasing even by Volvo standards.

About 10 years ago, Ford was selling the Taurus SHO motor in crate form for about $9993.00 er something like that. For about the same price, you could have bought a high strung big block chevy, ford or a Dodge HEMI to power you street rod. You Know where I'd be putting my money.

Chill out Rick - you had to know that design would provoke comments.
