-now to finish out the B & W era for Sr. Sans,

These two images were found at the CMA website, created by Marshall Buck. Mr. Buck in addition to writing about these men and other fine model makers, is one himself! He made a really superb Ferrari, the "Rossellini" 375MM, for which he offers a small book describing his process .

And in the works a model (kit of sorts), of Lance Reventlow's Scarrab!, and another favorite of mine, the Delage D-8-120-S Aerodynamic Coupe, of 1937.

Mr. Buck is a builder, appraiser, and broker. -I met him a few years back, I asked him a thousand questions, and no one knows more about classic fine model cars!

    His website:

A few motorcycles were made, but not too well recorded.

Like most other professional modelers, craftsmen, and artists, Manuel probably worked on more than one project at a time. (probably the most difficult part of being a lone craftsman.) Doing research and making plans for your next project, while, being in the midst of working on one.

More than twenty-five years since his BMW 507, Manuel makes this equally beautiful Aston-Martin.

These are pages from VINTAGE MOTORSPORT magazine and the photographs were taken by John C. Lutsch, article by Marshall Buck.

Another fine article by Mr. Buck, and an unbelievable model by Sr. Sans! A few years after this article CMC produced their also amazing model of the "Bird Cage" Maserati, (Which is WOW!) (And a production model has its own problems), but I am sure that it was seeing this model that inspired someone to attempt it. Prior to this model, I think everybody just thought it too complex!

The Type 61 "Bird-Cage" Maserati by Manuel Olive Sans!

These pages are again taken from VINTAGE MOTORSPORT magazine, the author was Marshall Buck, and the beautiful photographs
were taken by John C. Lutsch.

A website for Manuel Olive Sans has been up for a while, but it is not what it used to be . . .

    www.olivesans.com

-and the models that had been cleaned by Francisco Pulido, were on view at his website, unfortunately his web address is the same-ish as that of a modelling agency!?
    it was:
