i was looking over my big T and it said something about the front suspension setup can be low or even lower. i'm a hotrod guy, so obviously, i wanna go lower, but how do you build the lower version?

I wouldn't mind seeing how both techniques are done, Don, especially the easy way. My way would be to add to the upright parts on the front axle and Z the rear frame area. I could also channel it. Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance.

That's the easy way and works pretty well...the hard way is to notch or "Z" the front of the frame.....I'll post pics this weekend of one I did a while back that has kind of a new approach to it...looks better to me than a Z'ed frame.

Some of the T bodies...other releases don't have that hole, the exhaust pipe from the header collectors are supposed to go through there to the mufflers, the new T kit has a couple of red plastic plugs to fill the holes with if you don't want to run the pipes thru the body.

i saw the plugs, but they are very noticeable, and look alittle poor in design, so i'm just gonna cut out some styrenecircles or something, glue them in, and put some filler over it, then sand
it down, and nobody will ever notice they were there. they should have made it so if you were going to use the long exhaust, you had to cut out a hole with a guide in the back like some hoods on 1:25 60's cars have for if you want to use a tall intake setup.
Your right about them holes. They are a pain..:( The bodies that Don was refering to are the ones from The Golden "T" kit and the Custom Street "T". But they do have the notches on the inside walls to locate the flat floorboard..(BIG DRAG) which is a plus.And, those 2 kits also have the shorter pick-up bed and cover. :)
