I'm working on them, but no prototypes yet, so no pics!
Anyhow, look at the drawings in the meanwhile.
I changed the ratchet system for a 3 mm. screw, it's easier & it gives finer adjustment...
I'm making them from acrylic Scale car jacks sheet, brass & else. Airbrush Scale car jacks , miniature labels, etc.
    Jeeez, ain't this fun?

Mario - great post, particularly for those us without access to actual cars or material to measure. Dimensioned drawings would be a great thread. I have been stumbling around trying to determine the right size for vaious items like wire connections to starter and alternator, battery cable, etc. My only vehicle, an LR3 has everything behind plastic covers.

Gonna try to make some of the jacks from your drawing. Millimeter measurements right?

    Millimeters allright!
Sydeem, make me a list of the items you want dimensioned & the scale you need, I'll try my best...

The pdf file downloads perfectly by the way.

Would be great to see plans for scale starter with solenoid and connections and alternator connections, as a beginning. While doing the T I tried to find pictures of these on the internet but most were positioned not to show connections and eye balling sizes is difficult if you spent your life in an office instead of a garage.

Thanks for taking the time to post the drawings Mario.....it's really appreciated. Did Dan get back with you on the bolts & nuts you asked about? If not I'll rattle his cage for you. He's really jambed up with with getting the parts page squared away and his pending move to the East Coast of our little island.
BTW...what drawing program are you using?l:

    Thanks Don!
Dan replied to me as fast as a lightning! I'ts me who haven't listed him with what I want..
The drawing program I use is Autocad's Mechanical Desktop, in fact, I draw all the necessary views of a part before machining.
Another great use of this program is that you can print 2D views of a part, stick it to the proper material & use this as a template
for marking out, cutting, filing, etc.
Besides, I also use Archicad 10, which allows you to render in 3D and show the materials used!

    More drawings coming!...

    Thanks again

Mario – thanks again for the scale drawing of the car jack. Did a quick styrene Scale car jacks xacto knife version to see how it would work. Plan to take a little more time and pay attention to detail on the next four.

I should not have asked you about scale starter/alternator dimensions for my planned Deuce as the Monogram kit starter has much better detail than the Lindberg T kit had.

I would like to try again for an electric fuel pump. Does anyone know whether something like the BG Fuel pump below is about 4 or about 7 inches tall? Once I get an approximate height, I think I can figure out the other dimensions close enough for my capabilities.

By the way – outstanding job on your 32. I am going to have to figure out how to make a wooden dash for mine also. I can’t handle the machining you guys do but I will endeavor to improve my carving as time goes by.

Sydeem.....if you check a supplier of scale boat building supplies they have various woods in very thin strips a few inches wide...perfect for dashes, wood siding, etc. Model Expo is the source I use.

Outstanding job there sydeem! Congratulations also for your speed in making a prototype!
I haven't even started to make my own jacks yet.

By the way, I used very fine wood for the dash,(Sticked together 2 sheets), carefully sanding Scale car jacks it before I cut the template for the dash, and didn't use varnish or lacquer Scale car jacks (It's to bright!), instead I gave it 3 coats of thinned Tung oil, followed by very fine steel wool Scale car jacks .
Once the wood piece was readily treated, I CA it to the plastic dash using THICK CA, & opened the instrument hole with a Dremel Scale car jacks very carefully applied.
    Finished with jewellers files...

You have to post a shot of that dash, Mario. It sounds like a class A treatment.

Oh I am totally impressed. That's going to add so much to the final product.
As far as the tutorial, it would be more than welcome. Thanks for sharing. l: l: l: l:
