Hi again! I am starting the Monza and want to replace the plastic rivet heads and bolt heads with real hardware. I was thinking about using brass needle heads for the rivets but any suggestions on what to use for the bolt and screw heads?

00-90 Pewter Hex Bolt 25pcs 00-90 Pewter Hex Nut 25pcs

This replaces most of your hardware in the frame and major motor parts.

    000-120 Pewter Hex Bolt 25pcs

These cover allot of smaller hardware for the motor, dash.

Dont forget your plugs. Spark Plug's 1950's style 1/8

Heres most of what I carry http://www.scalemotorcars.com/catalo...x.php?cPath=61

I have more so if you dont see what you need ask.

Your wire is here and I suggest the full kit. http://www.scalemotorcars.com/catalo...x.php?cPath=93

Items with 2 prices are bulk discount items. The more you get the cheaper it is.

I also have a selection of replacement metal parts for the Alfa motor.

Hi. Why Pewter? I was thinking brass. How many and what will I need to do the whole Monze(nuts and bolts) including the under carriage, motor, interior and frame? I am also guessing that I just use the heads and just cut the thread off and glue the heads on?

    Any Suggestions on Hardware?

They stopped using brass hardware in about 1914-1915 on vintage cars so pewter hardware actually would look more realistic and scale. Also in 1930, it was also likely that rivets on the car were painted over. I agree that brass hardware looks really good on the Monza but if you check the pictures of the prototype cars, the hardware is either painted, black oxided or occasionally nickel plated Any Suggestions on Hardware? . If I were to detail my Monza with brass hardware, I would at least get a nickel plating kit and nickel plate the brass.
