Hi all, are the mag wheels in the "T" kit the same size and offset as the ones in the 32 kit, also are the whitewall slicks the same size and width as the smaller rear tyres in the 32 kit.
    Thanks guys:)

The mags in the T are better than the ones in the deuce kit. I think they are the same size but the T wheels are more correct for torque thrust type wheels. I haven't done the measurements but the T rear tires look better to me than the firestones.

I made a call tonight to SUPERMODELER with my magic decoder nibbler. Here's what the man told me. kdekjf orpgep prlkld slkflksdg spdkfjdf
lfkd dkooooooordk kdflkdf dkfnjhdghs gghl Ha Ha Ha .

What did you expect. It's in code. That's why I had to use my decoder nibbler. I'll attempt to translate. He says that the T tires and wheels are very good but don't come anywhere near the original 1963 issues. The T mags are the ones you'd find in the Big Drag kit. And that's from the man himself. We now reflect.

    lol

    Thanks SuperModeler!!!

I can't comment on old vs new, but I'll tell ya this...

Yes, the slicks in the T kit are just *slightly* taller than the Goodyears from the Deuce. The slicks are just a tad narrower (note that a tad is more than slightly lol).

The wheels...yes...the T has nicer lookin' ones, but it really depends on the car. For some silly reason, I like the Deuce mags better on my rpu.

One thing I noticed last night...the T mags have less offset than the Deuce mags (they stick out from the drums more).

The steel wheels in the new T kit look really sweet done up in Alcad (chrome) with baby moon hub caps. Yep, I'm fond of chrome reversed wheels....couldn't afford mag wheels when I was a kid.:)

Honestly mags would normally be 'bout my *last* choice on a traditional hot Big T tyre info needed rod. It depends on the car, but normally first choice would be steelies...followed by K-H wires...followed by a plethora of vintage hubcaps like I like...THEN mags.

But, once I decided to go with the particular dash and interior style I've got goin'...well...the mags are just right for the car.
