I was doing 55 on the Detroit River in a cigarette boat with twin supercharged 454's after rebuilding and fine tuning one of the Holley 850 DP carbs.

140 and change is it for me, although there's an astersisk next to it. We were headed from Watkins Glen to Buffalo to pick up a tire that had been air-freighted in for us (the same one that I'd gone to Binghamton to pick up and it wasn't there). Right about the 140 mark, my co-driver turns to me and says, "You know the tire we're going to pick up is for THIS car, don't you?"
