I think this is what they mean: 1. Light or subtle green metallic Need help translating Italian to English. 2. dark or black head 3. means burnt like you have it. could mean slang for burnt out. could refer to flaming or burning but the word is different. hope this helps- Gary

P.S. What is the context or usage of these words? #2. Testarossameans "red head" but the heads weren't red they painted the cam covers red, so I'm guessing testa di moro means black cam covers. 3. maybe something like charcoal gray in English

Another thought occurred to me about Testa di Moro. In the same way that Testa Rossa means "red head" or red haired(those crazy Italians are always using sexy feminine references toward their sportscars), Testa(feminine) di Moro (dark or black head)= "Brunette" or "Raven haired," some shade of dark brown to black. Those classes in Renaissance Italian art history and introduction to Italian nearly 40 years ago are finally paying off! Sorry Ron, maybe someone that can actually speak Italiano can help you, as for me, I'm just an old fossil with a foggy memory around here and should just keep to myself- Gary

I like a challenge, so here is what I discovered.

Testa di Moro is the same as "marrone" or Dark Brown.

Verde tenue is Metallic Need help translating Italian to English. silver with a hint of green.

    Ferrari Colors

I love the international flavor of this site. You learn stuff you never thought you'd have any contact with. It also goes to show you how too literal a translation can get you messed up.

    Thanks to all!

Mouppe, thanks for the link. Now I have a better idea what the colors actually are.

    As I understand it:

Verde Tenue Metallizzato is an exterior color,

Testa di Moro is an interior color,

    Bruciato is a carpet color.
