Thought I would post this pic. of my pal Fritz and the newest resto project. Yes that is Big Daddy Roth's Bike Truck called Captain Pepi's Motorcycle and Zepplin repair. Or the Mega Truck. Was pretty wild sitting in his shop with this one on one side and the Outlaw on the other side! We pulled the body of the other night and found bits of the plaster buck on the inside of the body! For a roth freak like myself thats huge!!

That's wild. I'm glad to see those pieces are being restored. It would be a shame to lose them.

I know what you mean. Being around that stuff in person is like being there with the original builder. It's like you fell into the History Channel. It's just too bad that Ed's not around to watch you enjoy it.

Ed is everywhere!! LOL! The bummer about the whole resto. is eventhough the current paint job is like the 4th one this car has had. There is a Rat Fink on the back of it painted and signed by Roth! Sadly it will have to be sanded off when Fritz paints it back to it's orig. colors.... I need to get a shot of it before it's gone.

I'd love to se that. It's too bad Fritz can't cut out that panel, repaint the body and inlay that back in. It's too bad that painting has to get lost. In any case, Fritz knows what he's doing and he can do it well.
