Let's have some fun guys......I'm going to start this thread with the intention of getting some of you guys that say I can't do this or that up and moving around.

The model that I'm working on here will not be revealed until it's a bit farther along. It's something that MF and I (jointly) are doing as therapy when the workbench is starting to become a chore.

Hopefully, along the way, some of you new to big scale guys will gain an "I can do that" frame of mind when you see that scratchbuilding is only as hard as you make it.

The first photo is a small bottle of eye drops and an old coffee machine scoop....junk?
Hardly...actually there are free parts hiding in there if you just look for them.

Second photo....I cut a nub off the scoop?
Third and forth photos....cut both ends off the bottle and filled it with an expanding foam because the plastic the bottle is made from is a bit soft.

Last photo.....the part I'm fabbing is on the left...the others are what I started with.

Okay it's your turn........so what is it?

Now we are havin' some fun.
Miked it is a tank....but the other end isn't going to be round.

Willys....not a bad idea for a shop dio.

MF is working on some of the parts and I'm doing others.....
It's going to be a while before you guys are able to figure out what we are up to and then you'll probably wonder if MF and I have gone over the edge.

I'm thinkin' it's maybe a shop air compressor tank? That would be cool in a garage dio.

I'll say this much....it will eventually be part of a vehicle with 4 wheels...5 if you count the steering wheel, maybe even 7....if it needs a wheelie bar.

Lower half looks like a propane tank...
Top does not look like it will be a fuel tank with out modification.

Shape reminds me of a WWI 500lb bomb.
