I'm sure the Madd Fabricator is in his man cave grinning as he reads these posts.
Don't forget, this project is a whimsical break from the norm for us old bench tired dudes.
We are not holding true to form with scale this or that and every nut bolt in it's proper place.

Before you ask....NO, M.F. isn't going to tell you what this will eventually be either.

Here's another little tidbit....M.F. is fabricating the engine........it's a six pack.
Yep....a rompin' stompin' 6 cylinder. Confused yet?

Guys and gals (if we have any) lend me your ears for a couple and I'll explain and give you couple of hints as to where this is going.

The Madd Fabricator and I talk from time to time on the telephone...you young'uns remember phones right? Neither one of us is real fond of keyboards and I don't see either one of us having a bar code stamped on our foreheads so that we can go digital and travel at light speed. So simple a cave man could do it is more to our liking.

Anyhow to get back to the matter at hand, we decided one evening (during an old fart conversation) that we really needed a break from the pressure and stress of "scale modeling" and decided that when the work bench got to be just too much we'd tinker with Brain Phartz.

Here's a couple of hints....
Think Fink.
Think Ol' School Gasser
Think assemble and paint, no need to chase extra hardware or donor parts.
Think skill level.....NONE, build it, paint it and have fun.

No way yer gonna pull a RAT FINK outta that can!

I like the idea of putting a Rat Fink on a 500lb bomb as a tribute to Dr Strangeglove...

Mutter away Tage, you're closer than you know. Rat Fink...certainly not. However, keep in in mind, adults (if M.F. and I qualify) are prone to wander around the playground also. The old timers are way over due for a game of kick the can.

I'm SO old, we didn't have cans.
We had to play kick the rock.

Too many broken toes to be a fun game.

We didn't even have rocks. I don't know how many times I played kick the glacier. You had to be careful not to step in the mammoth piles.

I don't really think they had a specific scale in mind....but they aren't what I would call large scale. More like 1/25th with some distorted large parts.

Could you image how much our wives would just love a 1/8 scale version on the living room coffee table.

Hows your project coming along?
