Our Pocher crowd will remember that earlier this year we had hoped to put on an on site "Pocher Concors". The theme was similar to our "Show & Shine" and there was considerable interest expressed both on and off site. For a couple of reasons, we were not able to pull off this event this year and it had to be cancelled.

I'd like to put the idea back on the table for sometime next year. An event like this takes a lot of planning, and contact with the many Pocher folks who are not members of this site.
We are fortunate that we have some very involved Pocher folks amongst us and I'd like
their input. I'd like to know if you still support the idea and if so, are you willing to help make the event a success.

I welcome your comments (from the Pocher crowd and others) here, or if you wish to comment privately, you can E me at .

    Thanks.

    Hey Rick!
Glad you decided to do this contest again....Besides the Alfa, I'm now the proud owner of a Rolls Phantom II, which arrived here thanks to the efforts of Don & Dan...
This one will make me go beyond sanity when I'll tackle it, so please count me in....
Try to make the contest for finished & unfinished models so I can participate....(These 2 Pochers of mine will take years!....)

    Thanks

There dosen't seem to be any interest in hosting an an on site Pocher Concours. I can't and won't carry the ball myself. We'll leave the thread open but if there's no further interest and in particular, offers of help, between now and the new year.......there will be no Concours.

I am really interested if my input is limited to

    -posting a couple of photos
-doing some advertising on other forums

Realisticly, that is all I can do. I have my own website to tackle, setting up another one, which should generate some revenue, and I really need to get the new house in shape, as my wife will give birth to our first child, someway June/July... Remember I do not have a bathroom at the moment, half a kitchen, and improvised bedroom... Life is fun...

We're going to rest this topic until the new year. In the meantime, I'd appreciate it if all you Pocher guys would give some thought to whether or not we should revive this event.
