    A recent event in Calgary Alberta Canada brought out some very cool and historically significant dragsters and personalities. The attached photos are a sampling of what was there and may be usefull to those of you who want to build something different. Its not only the race cars that are cool, check out the tow/push vehicles. That Olds wagon pulling the FED on an open trailer says it all.

    Outrageous!!! Dig that crazy Willys pickup. Looks like those rails fell right out of the 60's

    They did Jeff. Most of them are restored originals. The full bodied blue car is from Vancouver BC and one day during the mid 60's the City Police closed a downtown street so the owner could take the car for a test run. The car is still owned by the original builder/driver. And........its self starting.

    In the second photo, the yellow block engine looks like an early Keith Black 392...
