Ok, I worked up the Radir Tri Rib wheel that was requested by MF.

We came at this one a little different than the first two centers. This wheel is set up with a UniLug bolt pattern so it will take either a 5-4.5" Ford bolt pattern or a 5-4.75" Chevy bolt pattern. The bolt holes and the counter bore are set up to use a 1-72 Modular/customizable wheels bolt with a .16" diam. by .02" thick washer.

Also we did the centercap up as a seperate piece this time too.

Well here are some pics of the final computer graphics model. I will be sending the computer model off to be rapid prototyped this week and will probably have it in hand by the weekend.

    .........From brain fart......to computer art.........to 1/8 scale part......in 2 weeks

Tim that looks great, good job! Question, will the wheel assys. work on a monogram tire, or just the ones you designed? I'm still working on aluminum rims for these centers, but my buddys cnc guy is out with knee surgery and has'nt figured out what it will run yet.

    Thanks Merlin

I really have no idea on the Monogram tire. You may be able to adapt something, but no consideration of the Monogram tire went into the design of this tire/wheel system at all.

Gang I have the wheel and tire parts sitting in front of me as I'm writing this.......I'll be doing a little tweaking and getting them ready to go out to be cast. I will check the fit with R/M existing stuff and give you the full will or will not stuff, but I think you will be pleased with the outcome. TDR Modular/customizable wheels tries to hold what we are doing as close to real world scale as we can so if it fits R/M stuff, they did their homework too.......that allows us to offer parts to the scale builder as well as the plug and play guys.......I figure a little "modeling" on the builders part is a small price to pay for "new" stuff.....

So watch for a post a bit later on what I've found......as you know, I'll tell it like it is.
    Tim....you done good!

How about 1/25 scale as well? I've been looking for 3d printed wheel files (my friend has one) and a way to make tires. MPC Modular/customizable wheels BFGS or whatever the cool kids are running now.

Always open to all flavors of pontiac goodness. Surprise me. Each snowflake is different so they say...... those 2 customs tho... they are tributes to the t/a if she were still with us...... just an opinion I recently saw an awsome 1/10th scale offering for $70. I will prolly get them as I have a 1/10. But what if my shoes don't fit right. I guess I have to jump in the creek and walk around till they dry..... then they will fit more better....
