Okay, long story short... I have been looking for decals for my Vette to no avail. I am going to buy an Alps MD5000 and eliminate this trouble from my little world. Would there be any interest commercially in custom decals?

There should be a good market on this site for 1/8th decals of all the parts like K&N filters, etc. but unfortunately I guess you get in trouble reproducing them. I you do black market them just lets know so we can email you off site.

Oh believe me Daniel. I have done a lot of research on the how to parts, learning the ins and outs. Bought CorelDraw x5 and learning that, will be buying the printer, inks and other supplies soon. It's gonna cost me about $1,500 to get started but I'll be able to do Gold foil and everything.

Syd, as far as any blackmarket activities..."I know NOTHING!" wink wink

David are you sure you can get new collorbands, they don't make them anymore and it's a needle that punch on the band and transfer the collors, I have seen a video of the use somewhere ? I would think the bands dry out when getting old.
You find the videos on YouTube

I had an Alps earlier, loved the quality.
Dry transfer ribbons were tough to come by.
    I moved to a Canon P9000.
