I have been experiencing difficulty on this site recently with very slow page loading when I do get on to it. Also, I have experienced transmission error messages appearing. I have a bang up to date computer and checked my router and they are functioning as they should. Is there a problem with this site's server? This site has become very slow of late as waiting for threads and posts to load is becoming a bit frustrating. This is a superb site for scratch builders and larger kit builders it has to be said, and it would be a pity it contributors dropped away by getting frustrated with the slow responsiveness of it.INot sure if any moderator will read this? I cannot see an easy way to be able to contact the admin about the problems to bring their attention to this matter. I can see users dropping away from using it if the problems persist.

I hate to say anything as I haven't been here long but it is an unbelievably troublesome site technically. I am getting "Max User Connection" warnings, those type of things but when I get onto the site, loading of images is painfully slow and chapter turning too, I think I spent two hours getting through about 20 pages of the Lago Talbot build. Generally I can only get on the website 50% of the time...it's like it's 1996!! Shame as I am getting to the crunch time for my build and would like to post some pictures. In terms of content, it's a great site

Since a few weeks there are VERY MUCH PROBLEMS TO LOG IN of this site.
Some days no chance to get in other days I had to spend 15 minutes or longer with
log in with several warnings about this site

Admins please stop those problems of perhaps all users..

This morning, I got an email from happyfreddy saying that he cannot log in in the forum. He can read the various posts, but not add comments.
    He wrote that:
"I can look to the Forums site and I can also chose Your threads .
But it is impossible for me to log in .
Each time I do this the answer is that I made any mistake with my nickname
or the password . But I made those entries correct as in times before.
So something with the forums software must be wrong."

Are other people experiencing the same issue? Or is something we don't know? For example, some time ago, German people could not log in the AACA forum because there were a lot of spams coming from this country. I suppose that this issue at the AACA was solved, but it could be the same here.
Thanks for any comment to help happyfreddy to be happy again!

Ah-hem, for a very, very long time now, the pictures of a random Bugatti Type 35 radiator and axle have been the only images across the forum, latest pictures banner. I am certain that though these are beautiful images, deserving of study, they have not been replaced as contributors to this forum have forgone trying to upload pictures, and are instead doing inserts. Which are done in the edit mode and so not uploaded in the same manner.

Can we do something to restore this old function? It would go a long way to show an active and engaged membership. (in my opinion)
