Not knowing your skill level or kind of equipment you have access to I would start with deciding with model/year you wish to build and at what scale.

I at one time owned a 1955 Coupe predating the "A", "B", and "C" models. Then acquire some really good drawings, a repair manual and attend Porsche Concours to get photos.

The early ones like my '55 had VW front axle even with the VW logo on them of course the trans and engine were Porsche.

Do your homework first since this will be a challenging build regardless.

    Good Luck!

Research, research, research is your first move with any model you want to build just like Ken says. If you show us some pictures of a model or two that you've built, we'll be able to tell what your skill level is. From there, we'll know what direction you should take. Looking forward to seeing what you've done. Welcome to the site

    Hello blueoyster,

got some info about the 356 A Speedster. Will have a look for blueprints of the Convertible. Which type are you planning to replicate A,B or C ?

    Cheers
