I have the drawings too....and a complete (german) DVD of a restauration of a F40 which was smashed. I don't need it anymore so I can sell it to you.

The CD shows a lot of detail of the car inner and from the engine too. But I don't know if it shows the specific parts

A dealer in Denmark has a F40 and allowed me to take the pics I want.

Body details: Open the gills, what a job, used a whole roll of cutting discs (100) that was flying around the room when they break.

Egon. I do remember! One most terrible moments in this building job. The metal is almost as hard as diamond!

Paint stripping: pretty hard job, 4 time with paintstripper and had to go manuel with the scalpel on the last bits, front polished just for fun.

Update on details: I have been working a bit on the doors, hinges and locks, the real doorlock is very complicated to copy so I did my own simple that works fine, hinges on enginehatch reduced to a more realistic look, all parts handmade.
