To create the aged look take some acrylic How I Build Dioramas. paint and thin it with water about 60% paint and 40% water.I highly recommend JoSonja paint as it is a gouache acrylic How I Build Dioramas. and drys completely flat.Take some Nimbus Grey and add a touch of Raw Umber to the mix, adding the raw umber a little at a time until you get the shade of grey that you like.I tend to keep mine a light shade as I will be hand spraying some raw umber later. The secret is thin coats leaving some of the wood grain showing through.

This is the nose of the Bleriot.I don't know if you guys remember or not but the airplane is to be part of a large diorama/sculpture I call "Stranger In My Sky."I have finished the bird part, the Peregrine Falcon, and now it is a matter of artistically joining them together into a single piece(The hardest part)

Well, it is a long story. When I set up my pics I put them in albums under the date that they were created, now I don't know how to find a specific pic without going through 16,000 pics.(My Bad) Also I can't edit my pics without doing it on Imgur and I want to post the best quality here. This all came about because Photobucket are now holding my pics hostage for $400 bucks which I refuse to pay. I understand that this site has rules and of course I accept that. The only other way that I can figure it out is to refer everyone to my Igmur account and post a page number where they can be found but the problem there is that as I add pics the page numbers keep on changing.Any suggestions ?

The pics that I am posting now in reference to the airshow car can be found on Igmur pages 208 & 209.But of course these numbers will change as I add more pics.
    Cheeres! John.

That sound strange, changing numbers, could it be you have other pictures with same number in your files.
Can you find an old version of Photoshop for small money and edit pictures your self, I have Photoshop 7. free.

Hi guys! I haven't posted here for a while. I am just finishing up a new diorama box diorama in 1/16th scale about the Wright Flyer 2. After the Wrights success at Kitty Hawk they continued their experimental flying at Huffman prarie. I have built the barn/shed/first hanger in the world for aircraft.

John I just cleaned up your thread of all the old deleted posts. I hope I got them all. I get wanting to use external image hosting but if you could use SMC to attach your images that way we can secure them on the site. As for your old Photobucket pics the only reason we still have them is because the SMC auto imported them. Unfortunately that doesn't work with sites like Imgur or Facebook
