    That's one sweet package Tony. I'm glad you mentioned that it was an early elephant.

    An easy way for our non-gear head members to tell the early 392 etc. from the latter 426
    is the location of the distributor/magneto (rear-early......front 426). Also the oil filter location (right rear-early......front left-426).

    Good grief Tim....can you narrow that down a bit? Crank mounted blowers (actually the old GMC blower itself was used on diesel truck engines) have been around since you were in diapers. Do you mean the Potvin drag etc. or front mounted blowers in general?

    How does 1958 sound?? That year was also the last year of the production 392 Hemi.

    LOL..... I guess I was asking about when these things were used in racing and rods. It is a setup that I have never seen untill recently.

    That is a stock setup??!!!

    I had no idea that they were doing stuff like that back in those days. That Bently looks like it comes from the late 20's or 30's.
