  3. Great to see someone on here building a mini !!! Have you considered converting the kit into an early model mini ? It would look nice in this scale and would be unique ! I'm a big fan of anything mini and will be watching your build with great interest, build on !

    Didn't Mr. Bean (Rowan Atkinson, a very funny guy) have a little yellow mini with a big padlock on the drivers's side door? I think I remember seeing that in one of his shows.

    I saw a real one of these done in hot Tamiya 1/12th Scale Rover Mini Cooper pink with a pink-and-white striped canopy top and wicker seats.

    You're bringing back memories with that Mini. I used to have one in the mid-nineties....double SU-carbs, hot Tamiya 1/12th Scale Rover Mini Cooper cam, RC 40 exhaust, SPAX suspension and stainless steel panels in the interior, just to mention some of the goodies. Lord, it was a blast.
    Looking forward to the built.
