      hello guys!
i saw your great works on large scale cars and i said to myself that i must build one from scratch!
Im scratch builder for long time, i build in small scale (military models).
I decided to make a car of my imagination but based on classic race cars.
I saw the type 23 and decided that this is my diraction.
the problem is that it is hard for me to find good materials like engine photos (or maybe draws?!)
frame photos or draws and all data that can help.

i know you guys know where to find those things and thought maybe you can help me?
I wish to open the build thread here, with all the masters here! :)'

      thank you guys!
      Daniel Ostrinsky.

See Bugatti photo server - Home for pictures. In the French Bugatti section, when you scroll down, there are some albums with technical drawings. Can also be helpful.

Very nice project. I can also search my books for some technical stuff.

    thank you!
Herman- your site is absolutely gorgeous!
sjordan- thank you, very nice and lovely pictures.
the problem is that they are too small and it is hard to get information from them.

    thank you friends.
I will soon start to draw my design.
I think I will choose 1915-1920 mechanical systems with my own style of car based on the bugatti brescia (t13,22,23) but with very special editions.

I will make the frame and the engine out of plastic, the body base from wood and cover it with aluminum.
    scale: 1/8

    thank you!

    thanks guys!
I must say that I love this forum.
the amazing work of ken (that by the way I'm big fan of your works for like 4 years, since I've seen your ww1 flyers) gave me the inspiration to do this.
After the amazing guys in the "bugatti builder" site gave me useful information I'm ready to start this project..but then:
I found better idea. after finding 0.005" (0.127 mm) thick brass sheets I tought to my self that it can be "a killer" to build this project in 1:43 scale, all hand made from brass!
It will be my first metal-made model after alot of super detailed 1/72 looking for info about bugatti type 23 scratchbuilt military models.
The sheets will shipped to me in 2 weeks and I will start this project.

my only issue is: can I post the progress in this forum?
I love this forum and his members so much I can't accept "no" for an answer :).
If the manager of the forum will say "yes" I will open official thread and introduce my design.
any of the subforums will be fine for me.

    thanks and good week.

We would love to see the build in 1/43. I couldn't say no to that kind of work. The best place for it would be in the off topic. I'm sure it will get good attention. Shavua tov

Here's a few more to add to your collection. I don't think these are all Type 35's, but they may help you out.

The first one is a type 40, the one with 51 on the side is a type 51 (how appropiate...). The ones with shorter engine blocks (4 cylinder) are type 37.

My site is down, if I can fix it this morning than I am good to go again, but alse it will be at least saturday before it is up again (catastrophic server failure)
