I am looking to buy a Rolls Ambassador but see that a bunch of parts are missing. Can I use a Phantom II Sedanca as a parts car for the Ambassador. I have read that most Parts are interchangable with same chassis cars. Thanks.

I was just looking at Paul Koos dvd and the 2 kits look almost identical. Is there any difference in the two? The parts trees all look the same with the exception of some of the body parts. Is this true?

Ive got a Ambassador thats a future project. Like you said aside from the obvious body parts the chassis look the same to me.

Sorry I really cant help on the missing parts. All I might have would be a set of headlights.

Take a look at modelmotorcars Can Phantom II Sedanca parts be used in the Ambassador? com

They specialize in the Pocher classics. I think they have the manuals online, so you could check to see what parts are different.

Also check eBay. Lots of stuff shows up there.

The good news is most of the clear parts are flat, so replacing them with lexan is simple.

    Enjoy!

Bag 10 contains wheel spokes- you can interchange it with any Pocher RR.

Trees 13, 14, 20, 25 and 39 are all interchangeable with other Pocher RRs. Model Motorcars Can Phantom II Sedanca parts be used in the Ambassador? sell a leaf spring kit which could replace tree Can Phantom II Sedanca parts be used in the Ambassador? 14, and they sell lights as well.

You could look on ebay for parts sales for the remainder.

    Hope this helps

The differences are in the body styles. The chassis are identical.

Afaik most of the pocher rolls royce parts are interchangeable. Main difference between the Ambassador and the Sedanca is the body. The Ambassador is replicating a short wheelbase DHC
(drophead coupe) bodied by Barker. Same chassis is used for the Sedanca (faux cabriolet, town car). Can't tell you by heart, who was doing the coachwork for Pocher`s Sedanca. Looking at the fenders, I'd throw a ball on Gurney & Nutting. In some kind of way Pocher/Rivarossi wasn't accurate in everything. Due to costs they launched models, which had just a facelift or another body-setup. There is a free download for Pocher's manuals on the Model Motorcars site.
Got your missing parts in mind, while I'm going to fish in th e bay.

    Cheers

    Michael

I've got both kits, the Ambassador is different from the Sedanca in the two front fenders and the provision of front and rear bumpers. The body work and virtually everything else are the same.
