Some of you may be familiar with this company, which makes some of the most awesome models I've ever seen, perfect in every detail - old racing Alfas, Mercedes, Blower Bentleys, Bugattis. Incredible. What's really weird is that I can't copy or bookmark the url below.

Skip, I have met these folks a few years back at the Nuremberg International Toy Fair, he was the supplier to Fine Art Models early on was operating in France I believe and then moved his operation to Serbia for a lower cost of living and labor rate. They do beautiful work and as you can imagine are expensive. For the folks interest in bodywork explore their site an you can see some pictures of them using copper for the body panels. At the same show I also met Mr. Tamiya 1:5 scale classics by Dr. Mischko and he complimented me on the Sopwith Camel and Fokker D-VII, he especially like the detail on the engine and then Gary Kohs took the Camel master brass wire woven pilot seat out of his pocket and blew his mind away. Gary had fun with that seat everyday at the show.

As a side note Mr. Tamiya 1:5 scale classics by Dr. Mischko shared that he has several of the Fine Art Models on display in front of his office at the factory that the workers must walk past everyday. He said they were to inspire his workers to the level of quality that they were to strive to in their work.

    Skip,
I had no problem bookmarking the site. Try opening and go to Cars and then add to Favorites. Otherwise check your settings or spam blocker.

Well, I've never had a problem with any other site, and the copying/bookmarking process continues to work just fine with others.
I'm on Mac using Firefox; unlike other sites, the mischko site shows no changes in the URL in the browser regardless of what page I'm on - it just continues to display the home page URL. Go figure.

That's an interesting story about Mr Tamiya 1:5 scale classics by Dr. Mischko . I use Fine Arts Models pictures for the same reason. I don't normally get to that quality yet but there's a lot of room for the improvement. It's the journey, not the destination that's the important thing. In other words, for me (and of course, me only) getting there is a lot more fun than being there.

These are incredable models. Love the 1930 era cars.

I stumbled onto this site some time ago, didn't bookmark it, and could never remember how I found it. Thank you.

    Saved it this time.

Thanks. It may have been a case of Firefox going downhill. Last week, Firefox automatically installed an update that was not compatible with my older Mac OS, and the old Firefox version was obsolete and couldn't be downloaded.

Now I'm on Safari and and I can bookmark it just fine.
