Hello
The Alfa Romeo the 8C 2300 Monza “Muletto” of Pocher I already built before 2 years.
Perhaps you saw to the building report already in a German-language forum, for all other I show the building report here again.
Also with this model I will again make again some parts and would fall in such a way on the basis of photos additional details to insert as possible.

When has me disturbed first, which with over 1450 parts in the kit, body and seat of a part to consist.

Thus I had to saw the seat out, prime and sand
the body off easily.

Of wood I composed the sub-construction for the new seat now.

And now the finished sub-construction.

To imitate in the next step the black leather with foam material together sewn around the structure in the surface of the original seat.
(To find me completebeautifully nerves and time cost the correct attitudes with the sewing machine, but after approximately 2 hours and 7 or 8 attempts with the backrest it folded finally.)

The backrest from the front.

With eagle owl the backrest with the sub-construction was stuck together.

With the side parts I proceeded exactly the same.

To the conclusion I stuck the seat face.

And in such a way the finished seat in the body looks out

Now I begin with the building of the wheels.
Those are divide for a wheel with spokes from the kit (made of plastics and metal).

And so the finished wheel is to out-look.

I had already begun with that to paint the later visible to place the plastic parts. But I was not content somehow with to expecting result. After some time me became clear, which to me the in layers structure and the change of painted one plastics and metal do not assure.
Thus me nothing else remains turning remaining the rim and the hub from aluminum again.
First I have me a turning steel into shape-polished.

The finished turned and polished rim.

And the finished hub.

Thus the rim in the tire looks.

The largest problem probably the 60 holes per rim which I still into the insides will bore must.
But I bought a 90° angle drilling resolution with female hexagon and soldered into a suitable employment a drill.
The angle drilling resolution has a height of 50mm with drill, so which I can bore the holes from the inside into the rim.

As the first I have the exact spoke arrangement in photos original vehicle looked at and determined that the arrangement indicated of Pocher do not tune myself.
Thus I exactly again designed the situation of the spokes as possible.

And afterwards I could draw the T/plate being worth for the boreholes on the rim and the hub and my self adhesive purpose form labels expressions.

The first T/plate being worth were cut out and stuck inside on the rim.
With built grains (with it I around the corner/from the inside to center can) the positions centered at those late holes to be bored now to be supposed.

Now those can be taken off T/plate being worth.

According to the same principle I will mark still all other holes on the rim and the hub.
First I centered the rim finished.

To center and for boring the hub I a small servomechanism later built themselves.

So I could center the holes cleanly.

And here the result.

There my angle drilling resolution own drive does not have stood I before the problem, it over a drill press to propel Screwdrivers or over my flexible wave.
Screwdrivers and drill press were to be led me too heavily around thereby the drill cleanly. And the second problem was which I then a hand for the drill press needed, with the second hand would have I the angle drilling resolution held and with my third hand
the rim. ? (Unfortunately I have only two, therefore I came on the following solution.

I bent three threaded rods in such a way, which I could connect the flexible wave and the angle drilling resolution to a part.

To the conclusion I fixed the whole with tape.

And in such a way it also folded then. The drill could be led with a hand and with the second hand could I the rim hold.

Now already once all holes are in the rim. Are only missing in the hub.
To installing the spokes I came on the following solution.

1. Original Pocher spoke
2. An end straight bend and something if necessary shorten. (With the original also only the end of the spoke at the hub is curved, the other end of the spoke in the rim is straight).
3. The nipple attach.
4. Stick the curved end into the correct hole in the hub (2K adhesive).
5. The nipple outward push and into the appropriate hole in the rim stick (2K adhesive).
6. This procedure 240 times repeat.
I hope the whole functioned as planned and the spokes can at the end the weight of the car carry.
The hubs has I with the help of the device bored in which I it also centered.

The 240 holes in the 4 hubs have a diameter of 0.6 mm.
I had genuinly to consider whether I the 0.6 mm of holes without larger problems into aluminum bore can. However better worked than feared and me are only 3 drills thereby broken off.

The rim and the hub lie now in the servomechanism. Now I can begin it gradually with the spokes to equip.

I love it if a plan functioned!
I bonded the outside situation of spokes today with the first wheel.
If the adhesive drying is can I it from the assembly fixture take and then gradually with the other three wheels exactly the same proceed.
Subsequently, I will insert the wheels differently rum one into the device and will continue with the middle and to the conclusion with the internal situation.

For the moment I am busy with the middle situation of spokes.

The valves later still into the rim do not come I built, those from Pocher correspond completely again into form and size at all the original.

(On the left of of Pocher, on the right of my new)
Is creative, the wheels are finished.
First I bonded the last situation of spokes.

And in such a way now the finished wheel looks out.
