      Hi all,

i will start a journal about my renovation project. I bought on ebay from Belgium a wreck of a Pocher Rolls Royce Star of India - based on the chassis number 188PY.

The status was not very usable, so i bought a second non finished kit with lot of missing parts on ebay from Vienna.

Richard, welcome. This looks like you're restoring a "real" old car. It should be a fun project and I can't wait to see the steps you take to tranform this beauty. Ken

Welcome to the forum, Richard. It looks like you're doing it just like the real thing. You buy a couple of derelict cars and a box of parts and you restore away. This is going to come out very well.

    Hello there....
I'm building this one too and am nearing completion.
It's a great kit with loads of 'errors'.... If I can help, let me know.
A couple of pics of where I'm at...

    Roy.

Very nice. I like the way you've captured the dash - which wasn't wood, it was Bakelite swirled to a wood effect. Bakelite was a new and exciting material in the early 30s!
I've found a picture I took when the car was at the Midland Motor Museum in the 80s. There are more, I'll go looking tonight.
