        want to thank everyone for all the help. These are my first pictures of the Fiat I am building. It is taking me a little longer than I expected. About 125 or so hours so far. I decided to add some detail to it. I used to build models about 30 years ago. Please excuse some of the mistakes. This is my first Pocher and the first model I have built in 30 years.

        I tried my best to put in the oil lines like the pictures I saw on this website. I am still not sure where they connect to. I am guessing maybe the firewall? Also, I tried to do the waterpump like I saw on Paul Koo's CD. If anyone has any suggestions, please say so. I should be done soon. I just purchased the Mercedes 500 K74. I can't wait to start that one. I hear the wheels are a blast! I have a feeling I am going to be asking alot of questions. By the way, thanks Moupe! I got the Mercedes on Ebay. I should have more pics soon. By the way, does anyone know how I can center the my pictures. This is the first time I am posting pictures.

      Great stuff Chevy! I like the way you fabricated the shaft which connects the tacho pulley and water pump to the gear at the front of the motor. The engine oil lines you added connect to the underside of oil tank, which is the silver box at the top of the dashboard.

      Chevy, I'm not exactly sure how many oil lines enter the tank I think it is six. There will also be a line from the oil pump which is the hand pump mounted on the floor in front of the passenger seat. I posted a series of black and white photos a while ago in another thread which shows both side of the engine, at the back you can see the end of the oil lines which are disconnected from the oil tank.       Very nice and great work adding the extra detail. The Fiat is one of the lesser detailed Pocher kits and it seems that nobody has detailed photos of an original. We've even tried the Italian museum where the original is stored and at last check they were closed for renovation. If anyone has good detailed photos of an original under restoration or ?? Please send them in to me and Ill post them for all to use. Thanks

      Hi,

      I really like your model. I have been working with Paul Koo's DVD and expert advice from Klaus Koehler-Kment for about a year, and I haven't finished my engine yet!

      There are 8 oil lines that go to the engine from the 8 oil pumps in the tank behind the engine, and another 4 oil lines that go from the pump/valve on the floor to the engine. I am assuming that the pump/valve is fed by the under-floor oil tank, which appears to be pressurised by a line from the pump that pressurises the fuel tank. Note the same type of pressure cap on that tank and the fuel tank. The other tank has mechanical pressure pumps, so it does not need an air pressure line.

      I have a blog on wordpress... Google Pocherpacific to see it if you have lots of spare time. There is an oil line diagram there, and photos of my yet-to-be-completed engine. I am working on an idex to my very disorganized blog!

      You have done a wonderful job on your Fiat. Thanks for sharing it.
