"Four thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire
And though the holes were rather small
I had to count them all
Now I know how many holes it takes
      To fill the Albert Hall............................."

Kidding apart, no paint can imitate the blackness of a real passing hole, so I've been drilling the radiator panel of the Rolls by hand, with a pin vise Pocher Rolls K 72 Build 1-J (The radiator) and a 0.9 mm diameter drill...

No power drilling allowed, since the distance between holes is a mere 2 mm center to center!!

As you can see from the pics, after many hours and a nearly paraplejic right hand, there I am....

I didn't read the news today, but I count the holes.................4.800 of them, some are being left for later....this is very similar to a punishment, but I hope the result will be rewarding....IT BETTER BE!!!...

I would have gone nuts by now trying to make those holes. They really add to the realism.

Not insane at all, it is simply the right thing to do.

    1. It's a Pocher
    2. It's a Rolls Royce
    3. Don't need a number three.

Boogie on Mario, I love to see your work.

I've been to totally insane too. The food's not too bad there. The TV stations stink though.

Mario, save this link for the next time you need some mesh. This is a great source for square, diamond and round mesh, somewhere they even have woven mesh. I used some of their square stock as a stone guard for my Fokker Radiator.
