The bolted body as it is today....

Going backwards now....let's the striptease begin!!...

Central body out, carrying the seat and the cage frame which also receives the dashboard..

The cage frame attached to the firewall in its place and over the floorboard...dashboard in place...

The firewall, cage frame and their bolting studs...the firewall has ALL the holes needed as per data...

The front body plate and its bolting hardware...

The back body plate and the tail are out, bolting hardware shown...

The engine block and its hardware are out...

The frame sides, all of the crossmembers & hardware dissasembled to its bare essentials...crossmembers have their reinforcements and their lightening holes drilled AND chamfered...

The floorboard almost finished, shown with the battery box aside...

I will detail every addition to the kit in a future posting....

      So far, so good...
      Thanks

      Mario

    Mario,

You are really doing a fabulous job with this Alfa. It is barely recognisable from the Pocher kit.

As an aside, I was watching a Pocher Alfa Mille Miglia being auctioned on Ebay- this is the very rare Alfa that Enzo Ferrari prepared for Alfa Romeo- it did not reach the seller's reserve price, so he reauctioned it with a Buy-It-Now of around $800. Gone in minutes! I don't think he knew he was selling the rare Alfa kit, because it usually goes for nearer $2000!

    Oops!

    Mouppe.

I'm not going to rant and rave about how great Mario's attention to detail is.....instead I'm going to sit, wait and watch......I'm dying to see how he makes those brakes actually work and maybe even some scale safety wiring........hee, hee.

    I am very impressed by what you have done so far. I see you know about the trick of moving engine to the rear for proper location of where the motor was in the real vehicle. However, I do not understand the additional addition at the front of the engine that extend the front engine mount to the same location of mount on cross brace of front end of frame? How about a new post of you build.;';;';
