Is there someone who have the dimensions on the hoodlatchs to the Rolls,
I'm gone crazy in my detailing and made me a hoodlatch, it took me some time to figure out how to make it work, it only goes up and down and are springloaded inside, to make it lock I will bend the rod 90 dg. so it catch the other part on the chassi.

You might see if you can get information from Marvin at modelmotorcars RR working hoodlatch .com. They say their latches (apparently non-working) are to scale. Click on Home.

I have written to Marvin, but no reply, not about the hoodlatch, but I want to buy some of that flextubing from the spotlight, I dont know why he do not answer my mails.
I'm also looking for a chain to my Bugatti front brakes.

Marvin was out of the office (and country) for a while on vacation and is digging out from a mountain of emails and back orders. He's very good about returning calls and emails so give him a little time to get back into the swing of things and he'll be in touch.

I now realize I should have been more specific.

I found some chain for my 1/16 Bugatti T59 [side-mounted brake system] that might work for you.

    Width is 1/8"

    Grandt sprocket and chain

    Thanks Andym and Sjordan.
That chain could be used, but don't looks right and I think it's to big, I surpose delrin is somekind of plastic,
I wrote to Termonia and suggested a photoetch chain to the Bugatti, if someone ¨nerdig¨ like me want to go over the top in detailing.
Where else is there chains on the bugatti brakes ?

Here's what the chain looks like from the side. Seems pretty accurate to me, though I don't know about the size you need. Yes, it's a sort of plastic material.

If you find something better or smaller, please let me know.

PS – I took a look at your gallery and you do beautiful work, Egon.

    Thank you Sjordan,
The RR K72 I bilding now started when I found John Haddocks drawings and from there we have been in contact since, exchanging idears and photos of our RRs.
This RR is going ¨mindblowing¨ in details, the same is Johns new project.
I let you have a small peak, The ashtray.

Your picture seems to match a 30s Phantom II image in my archives.
