      I purchased a Pocher K72 Rolls Royce in 1972.
I had built the wire wheels and engine, when the kit was stolen in 1980.
I found and purchased an assembled unit from e-bay, what a trasher.
Front wheel spindle broken off, front axle broken, with parts missing.

I propose to resurrect this elegant beast over the next year.

It is covered in petrified nicotine and filth. My work is cut out for me.

which is a project me a lot of work. If interested, I still have a K72 Kit 95% complete. Plastic rings of 3 wheels and the little screws and nuts are missing, but there is to a second motor.

    Hi Tage (Danish name ?)
Your K72 looks better than mine did that I purchased in 2008 and I'm still making details all around engine, dashboard, doors, seats, windows, yes everywhere.
The steeringwheel centerplates can't be fotoetch, to small letters, now trying with laser on steel plates.

Descent start if you ask me.

Tage, Ive got aftermarket parts and a few originals still. Drop me a line is you need anything.

By the way, I love the title... Busted Elegance. You need to build this and put that name on the plates.

The impetus to get me moving on this was the purchase of an K72 engine via e-bay.
It was missing a number of parts, assembled with Ambroid cement in inept fashion.
I needed to saw the head from the cylinders and do a massive amount of fill work.
My idea was to display Old Busted Elegance with an engine on a crate next to it.
The engine is close to completion. I am sore vexed that I neglected to take photos of the engine as it was received.

Wow! Absolutely beautiful engine work! Any idea what gauge of copper wire you are using for the tubing?

Tage, your temp sensor should be in the back of the engine, last bolt behind manifold.

Tage, I really like the crate design. Is that yours or did you build it off an original?

    All mine.
Got Mario's design and studied it, then went off on my own.
I used to build large crates to ship fiberglass produce displays to grocery stores.
Wanted it to be movable with a pallet jack or fork lift.
I still need to finish the exterior of the crate.

    Egon,
I thought that the copper line there with the coils was the Burdon tube oil temp guage...

Incredible engine work, Tage. I'm keeping my eyes tuned to this station.
