      Hi all.
Is there anyone who have a CNC machine that could make a perfect copi (milling the letters) of the steering centerplates in brass to the Pocher RR. ?

Going for a waterslide to my new juwel.
The laser guy say he can make the letters so small that you need a microscope to read them, but the production is to expencive.

Hey Egon, why not photo-etch these?

Micro-Mark has a kit that you could use over and over again. Micro-Mark Pro-Etch Photo Etch System

The project is only in lots of handmade parts so far, nothing build.
Photoetch no thanks it could ruin my jewel, waterslides can't.

Ya you do run the risk of messing up your already made parts. I was referring to using the drawing above to just photo-etch new ones.

You could also just cast metal copies of the parts already made and use the copies to experiment with. Most cities have a local jeweler and casting Anyone with CNC ? a few extras in silver or brass shouldn't cost all that much. There was a place in Ca that would do parts like this for about $10.00

Here is a sample of photo etching each nameplate is 1/4" wide and note the "MUST" is boldface as it was on the original nameplate.

Not sure your application but it is a good process to learn.
