Pocher wouldn't be able to rerelease their old kits, as the moulds were destroyed in a fire, at least that's what I've been told.

Duesenberg SJ Phaeton (or any Duesenberg) would be great though.

I’d agree with all these elegant suggestions. But I guess the choice is so wide it’s pretty random what’s next. Up to the management’s taste?

Nothing new: think about that Volvo they released in the 80s. Large scale car modellers were probably quite disappointed / puzzled.

Re working, refining, and adding photo etch details to some of the old Protar motorcycle kits would be nice, as long as we're speculating. Might even be feasible if enough could be sold.

I'd be real happy to see the 1/9 Manx Norton with built up chains and wheels and an overall cleanup and refinement of crudely formed plastic. The Manx has been reissued at least twice under other brand names since Protar's end, but has seen no improvement over Protar's original issue. Out of the box, it is unmistakably a Norton, but it illustrates the shortcomings of a kit from the 60s. Not to knock Tarquinio Provini and his production of some very interesting models which no other maker would be likely to have made, but I think it would be an honor to his memory to upgrade his work to a contemporary level.

Coincidentally, I have come across a magazine article written 1955? about making a MANX from scratch! It looks pretty good, but the printing quality is so-so.

It is in installments and as soon as I get them all, I'll post in the PAST MASTERS and PIONEERS. (If it's any good?)

The modeler worked in 1/6th scale. Made his own chains.

One thing about the old Pocher kits is how you'd build all these intricate internal components that, once the model is done, would never see the light of day. That definitely wouldn't be a problem on this 1905 Premier.
