      Hi to all,

this is my first post on this platform.....

I started the Alfa some month ago and realized very soon that I won´t be happy with the included engine. So I started building 3D-models of the main parts of the engine and had them printed at Shapeways. The rest was milled and turned.
      I hope you like it.

      All the best,

      Bodo

    That is truly excellent.

If I could suggest an addition, there is a bearing cover on the rear of the block extension on the exhaust side. it's opposite the dynamo drive shaft - you can see it here

Wow! Well this has my attention! How long has it taken to construct this?

    Beautiful work!

Recently another member sent me some very useful pictures and he too is working on a CAD model. This engine has inspired many for sure!

May I ask what software you are using?

    Thank you for posting!

    Question?

Your cylinder block, is it 108.335 mm long?
