I see this kit on eBay a lot, and I even got one there though I returned it because it was trashed. But I have never seen a built one on any of these forums.

Does anyone have photos of your build?

I built it straight out of the box, nothing fancy.
I did have to do some repairs on the body so it is painted in testors dusty rose pearl 1/8 1984 Corvette - have you built one? .

I haven't build one, but I do have one. Actually, a couple of days ago, I browsed through the box and from the looks of it, it seems like a nice kit.

The proportion's are very nice, details are poor and basic, fit seems to be ok without serious issues and the hood needs to be bend back into shape. My hood is slightly warped, I guess it has been at the bottom of the pile.

But if you like the Corvette; go for it! Even though the kit is very basic in details, it is a nice canvas to put some detail in.

    jm,
That vette looks like a nice build. I would have sworn the interior pics were of the real thing.

How did you get just the right shine on the seats?

I have built one many years ago. Unfortunately no pictures, and the model didn't survive. I have another one in the pile, but it will take some work because the hood is bent and the front end was broken and warped. Still, with a little work, it makes a nice display model, and with a lot of work, I'm sure you could make a very accurate replica. I say go for it, it will be a lot of fun.

Just lucky with the lighting, I guess.
Outside of a few small details I did not paint the interior thats the color of the plastic.
