      Hello,
After solving a problem with my website host, I am back to show something of my tinplate scratch built Tinplate Scratch built Chevy Sedan 1948 in 1:25 scale Chevy Sedan 1948. The scale is 1:25. I am building 2-door and and 4-door versions. Anyway, this is the first time that I try to build these models. There is much work to be done.

When you say "tin plate" are you referring to pot metal? Looks great! Do you plan to "weather" it to give it patina, or will you primer Tinplate Scratch built Chevy Sedan 1948 in 1:25 scale and paint it?

    Thank you very much,
When I say tinplate I mean the tinplate sheet for can fabrication. Once I used cooking oil cans, but now I can buy the tinplate sheets of 1000mm x 1000mm. I like weathered models, so I think that I will primer Tinplate Scratch built Chevy Sedan 1948 in 1:25 scale and paint the 4-door version and weather the 2-door one.

    Thank you very much.
I will be glad to post more details as the build steps forward. I like to build trucks. By the way, I have a Mercedes-Benz build going on. I will post the first details.

    Hello,
After a long time far from some of my builds, I finally finished one of the models in my first version of the project. I intend do improve it later. So this is my Chevy Sport Sedan. The Chevy Town Sedan build is still on the way.

    Really great work.

Would like to see how you formed the body panels and bumpers.

    Thank you David,
Each panel is formed from a sheet of tinplate pressed between two carved pieces of steel. There is something about this on my website.
