It is not my intent to start this "New" project right away,(I have as of yet to put two Model A parts together) but in collecting references I noticed a detail I thought I should share.

I do not know if this is unique or if it is a feature common to all the 8C engine blocks? -The hollow access on the underside of the motor mounts that extend to the chassis rails?

. . . a screen capture from a video, and with proportional dividers we should be able to determine relative scales.

The purchase of the MONZA book has re-kindled my interest in the engine, and I have decided to create a "corrected" 1/8th Pocher based model engine to better help me create the 1/4th scale one.

To know a part you really have to just pour over it and especially with the Pocher parts, you have to question everything.

Looking at the cylinder block and how it is attached to the crank case, this view is helpful. Also of note is the open end of the engine mount, maybe unique to the PUR-SANG engines? - I don't think this is a Stokes engine.

This is a "still" from the video found at JAY LENO's GARAGE, his Alfa Romeo episode. -Thank you Mr. Leno!

I was tonight trying to determine how the super-charger is mounted? Is there an attachment point on the crank-case wall? Or a "shelf" of sorts? I had not realized until I started to look for it, but none of the views that I've collected so far, showed this area. And just now as I was looking into something else did I find this picture posted up-side down!
