I'm posting this one just as another 'hello there' from a newbie.
I built the car a few years ago but I'm continually going back and twiddling with it.
The car has a real fabric body - took an age!....
Steel mesh grille and fuel tank guard,
      Fabric roof,
Cord bound suspension springs and umpteen added wires, rods and pipes.
If anyone is interested, I'll write up a tutorial on making fabric bodies for old cars. You really can't beat the look of painted fabric, when it's meant to be painted fabric.....

      Roy.

    hello,

To treat the rear part with Viskose-flakes a possibility also is, however, Bentley was covered behind with leather?

This is one of my all-time favorite kits, which was issued somewhere around 1970. It's based on the same Birkin Bentley now owned by Ralph Lauren, prior to his light restoration. Mine needs some restoration itself, since the cleaning lady picked it up to dust the shelf and snapped off two cycle fenders and the exhaust. The interior could have been a bit more detailed, though, and the MPC 1/12 scale Airfix Bentley blower version I built showed it was originally intended to be motorized (I've seen the motorized Airfix version listed on eBay). I saw one of these at a Gilmore museum display in Michigan, and I was very surprised about how big and intimidating it is – this is a HUGE car.
