Take assorted Allen hex screws , try them against your favorite scale bolts & nuts, turn them in the lathe to be as slim as possible & screw them in a hex bass bar.
You can do this also in a Dremel
& use files.
The open wrench shown, was made turning a ball in the tip of a turned down brass bar, & then milling flats on the ball at opposite sides, then the A/F dimension was milled in the tip.
Again for those of you without a lathe, you can do it with a Dremel
or hand drill, and use assorted files for the task.
I finally punched the dimensions on the handles for time & curse saving reasons...
If you do this slowly in a period of time, you will end with an impressive amount of drivers, proudly saying "I made these", and for very little money.
