Have a look at Ebay item #200056981903. Also check his Ebay store and his web site. Very pricey, but interesting stuff with some good reference photos. Any of you Pocher/Exotic members familiar with this guy?

I know this guy's work. I'm not familiar with the name but I know his stuff is great. Worth every penny.

Sounds like you got yourself an early Christmas present Cyril........

Hey guys, its the holiday season and everybody is busy getting ready for Santa's arrival, not much time for modeling, huh?

How 'bout an easy scratch build Interesting Ebay item and Web Site project? Remember those old long boards....the "60s Surf boards. Anybody out there up to doing a master for a 1/8th scale surf board? It'd be kinda cool leaning against a Deuce or on top of Mike's Woody.

Thanks for that bit of info, Sean. Now it all makes sense who made what. Those Bugattis were outstanding. Looks like the fine modeling community is smaller than I thought.

I have seen those models in person a couple of times. I must admit the type 55 was slightly disappointing (keeping the price of around 11.000 dollar in mind). Just a bit too less detail. (however, beautifully built). The type 35 and others are much better in that respect. Too bad I do not have 1500 euro for a Type 35 at the moment.

The type 41 (Royale) is an even better story. The "Musee Nationale de l'Automobile" (Schlumpf Museum, now state owned) borrowed these people the Royale Coupe de Ville, to take measurements. Imagine, a car that is worth at least 15 million dollars, on your front lawn...

They not only let them take photos, but they brought the thing over to his place, and left it there for a while. Fancy a ride?

For the interested people in Europe: The car (together with 2 other Royales (7 have been built) resides in Mulhouse, in the car museum. The Coupe de Ville will be at the "Bremen Classic Motorshow" (together with plenty of other Bugattis).
