When filling holes, its best to start by cutting a piece of
styrene
in the shape of the hole and plugging it before applying filler. If its a large hole, like the tail light holes on the deuce, glue a piece of flat
styrene
on the inside so that the filler will have something to bond to. Also, if you're modifying the deuce body, its a good idea to leave the
sprue
in place as long as you can as it adds rigidity to the body, especially if you are cutting it.
