Hi guys this web-site www.autocolorlibrary.com is the best one out there for locating correct automotive and truck colors. You call up the manufacturer, model, and year of the car or truck. It shows a color chip, the paint code, and all important information. THe colors go back to almost the beginning of the automobile. If you want to paint your 32 Ford roadster 1956 Mandarin Orange the color is there. I use it constantly to paint old Mopar slot cars and model cars. Once you get on it you will see how many colors from the 50's were forgotten. And you can mix body, frame, and interior colors to give you a fresh new look that will make your cars stand out. The auto parts store that mixes my paint can do PPG brand in as little as 4 ounces. This is base coat , you can clear it or leave it for a satin look or use Testors brand dead flat on it for the seude look. Take care. Keith Scoviak.

This is one of the best links I've seen on the net. I've been using it since Jan 04 and man, has it come in handy. It's great when you're building a specific period hot rod and you don't want to use a paint color that was used later on.
You gotta make this one a favorite.
