Does anyone have a beer keg made up for 1/8th scale...want one for a gastank...whattya think? Don't need metal, resin ratrod gas tank will do...will paint with metalizers. Anyone?

Nope. That wasn't me. I did mention something about a Moon tank mounted on the spreader bar and ?? just in front of the grill. I have the moon tank assembly if you want to make copies of them. Just let me know. Or... I have a few chrome "FORD" fuel tanks from the new "T" kit I could throw in the box for the saturday shippment...Guido

Thanks Guido, I'm good with the moon tanks. I guess I could always turn one on the lathe.

Did any of the old Tom Daniels kits (1/25 or 1/24) have an oversize keg on the back?

Yeah! I think they called it the "sudds wagon" or something of that nature. I know what kit your talking about Don. Don't know the actual name of it but, I know the kit is a 1/24 scale job.

  6. The TD Beer Wagon kit actually had a couple of chrome kegs for fuel tanks, mounted sidesaddle style as it was a flatbed. And a whole stack of "wooden" kegs on the flatbed itself.

But in 1/8 scale, they're more like beehive oil filters
