Hey guys. I have been experimenting a little today and came up with a way to make cheap nuts/bolts heads.
I don't know if this is a common practice, it may very well be since I am not the most experianced modeler out here.
What I did was take a small socket headed cap screw.....you know, the ones you use an allen wrench to tighten. I set it up in a holder to hold it securely. Then I took a piece of 1/16th styrene
rod and lit it on fire. Let it burn for a second or two then shove it into the hole for the allen wrench.
Once it cools just pluck it out and cut off the hex shaped part........WaLa......a bolt head!!
