I just got enough done to take a picture of the Caddy engine block. The defects have not been filled yet and many of the detail parts are not done. You can see the raw push rod receptacles which will get aluminum tubes and steel wires for the push rods. It's going to have a crank, cam shaft, pistons and whatever I can find to throw in. Hopefully I can make it so I can remove the outer parts to show the innerds although it may become difficult to do once the engine is in the engine bay. Don't know yet. Here's the first pics. More to come.

Screw the ex's. I'm close with my last one but mortal enemies with the first one. They can do and say what they want...but in the end all they have to offer is their own perspective, and just because they think they're right doesn't make it so.

Here...have a couple orange crayons on me. :)

Maybe they just didn't care for Oldsmobiles. My first wife hated my Harley....still got the Harley.

Thanks so much for the kind words, guys. I never listen to the ex anymore. My current wife is the one who makes me put the pics up when I finish something. She's the best..

I also changed my signature, Don. I like this one alot better. It was you guys that set me on the right path.

Like AndyM said, we opened the gate, you bolted through and are putting us all to shame. I remember the first few years of my scratchbuilding and I wish they were as good as yours. Hell I wish my skills now were as good as yours.

Don't forget that the secret of my success is high power magnification. First, you can really see the defects like the camera can and then you know what to fix. Second, when you use the magnifier, even lower power, your hand eye coordination becomes much more sensitive and you can automatically control your instruments a lot better. When I start cutting without the magnification, I need a transfusion and a box of bandaids after I get done. Believe me, from what I've seen of the work on this site, I'm by no means putting anyone to shame.

O.K. Dan, I know you are actually having some fun now but I don't think your build is going to fit within the guide lines of the "T" time build....rules on page #1 of that thread. So even though you own the site...I'm going to Forum Fuzz your butt and suggest that you start a thread for your "Dan's Duzie" or whatever you are going to call it and start posting some photos in one place so that we can keep you out of trouble.:D :D :D :D :D
