A very brief tutorial to show how some superdetailing can dramatically change the stock appearence of a kits part.

In this example, I'm using the Pocher Rolls front damper ....

Pics 1 & 2 shows the part just off the sprue A tiny tutorial ~ Superdetailing Kit Parts ...

Pics 3, 4 & 5 shows the part being deflashed, sanded, filed, drilled & tapped to receive some scale and/or special hardware....

Pics 6, 7 & 8 shows the part painted and being buffed...

      Pics 9, 10, 11, & 12 shows the scale hardware in place....

Pics 13, 14, & 15 show the finished part with the damper arm in place. This damper arm was polished and blued in its basrelief....

Number of parts in the kit = 3
Number of parts in the superdetailed counterpart = 17

Pocher parts used = 1 (The damper body)

      New parts added =
      4 faux studed nuts (Dan's)
      3 hex brass bolts 00-80
4 hex brass bolts 00-90 A tiny tutorial ~ Superdetailing Kit Parts
      2 allen bolts 00-80
      2 1 mm brass rivets
      1 damper arm (Dan's)

As usual, Mario, a first rate tutorial. This is exactly the kind of thing SMC is designed for.
