I went to the craft store today thinking I could get some foam rubber to stuff into the Firestone bigs and littles so they would fit the rims properly. Unfortunately, Michael's doesn't sell foam rubber. On the way out I saw these little foam rubber Jack-O-Lanterns that appeared to be the perfect shape and size. They were fifty cents each so I bought four.
They could not have worked better. While regular foam would work as well, I feel the shape works better because it applies a little outward pressure which really fills the tires nicely. They actually stand up on their own.
1. The Great Pumpin before surgery
2. Shown next to Firestone tire
3. Cut pumpkin center out
4. Then cut a small piece out (smaller for littles)
5. Stuff into tire
6. All stuffed in
7. Now with wheel inserted
8. Pass and review
