I’m always on the lookout for different projects to scratchbuild and even different materials. I ran across these sites some time ago, this one has all kinds of drawings from car model magazines from the sixties and the shore articles that went with them:

This site has a few nice drawings, I really like the Miller 91, just can’t figure out how to scratchbuild the tires yet:

I always thought paper models were just goofy looking things until I ran across some really good ones that are also free. Here’s one of a Bugatti, it’s small but fairly detailed, the parts can be printed out on formal quality paper and then scanned as large as you want:

Here’s another free one of an Austin Martin endurance racer in 1/18, the detail on his wheels is incredible for paper. More burnishing would have smoothed some of some of the parts out, but it still looks pretty good. I figured these could be used for patterns for plastic or metal.:
